This is a wonderful programme made in 1972 by the ILEA at their Battersea studios, which gives an overview of how their programmes were made and a good look at some of the kit. It's amazing that this survives on videotape- it looks wonderful! If you've got a spare 20 minutes, grab a coffee and enjoy!

And all it needs now, is a good old Sony open reel VTR of one model or another, and a suitably prepared Ferguson TV set on a large, wheeled 'A' frame stand, so that the school can record and time-shift the programming to suit their own daily schedule.

Ah, those were the days!

I knew a lovely gentleman who worked for them back then - Peter Brunning, I think his name was.
