Another article for the Thorn section of the blog. How's this for a blast from the past, the 800/850 series being assembled in the Thorn factory in Enfield, circa 1964. If you've not read the blog article I did on the history of Thorn, you may find it interesting.

Really nice pictures that i could look at all day long although i would like to see some RBM stuff too.

Just wondering. Did the lady on the lower photo looking at test card C have the scan coil leads connected correctly?

Great pictures above and also in the Thorn blog. I worked on many of the 800's and 850's, always found Thorn sets well thought out and geared towards easy access for servicing until the Thompson days.
