I guess that's why my 'Ice Crypt' Freeview box can't find any updates then. . . . ???
Hi Mike,
Assuming that Ice Crypt still exist, and still support this box, then there is an RS232 interface at the back of the box - It is quite ancient by nowadays' standards.
It's not really a big issue as it still performs as well as it ever did - It's reliable, it has some sort of self protection that forces it to shut down completely in a non-fatal fault condition, and it has an RF output. When I say "it" there are in fact two of them.
