VCR Video heads for Panasonic DMR-EZ48V/EZ485V

Hello,

I'm trying to find video heads for Panasonic DMR-EZ48V or DMR-EZ485V. They both use a head cylinder kit "VEG1697", and I cannot find any online. Are there any other head cylinders or upper head drums I could try for these two models?
Would it be possible to replace the video head chips themselves and is there a place I could get a bunch of them?

I was able to successfully replace a video head chip. Does anybody know where I can get some ferrite video head chips?

I would have thought the only place now would be from a donor head drum. That may not be the answer though. There used to be a firm in Manchester who fitted new heads to head drums but as they had a sophisticated and expensive machine to enable them to get the alignment right if the alignment is only very slightly out the VCR will only be able to track it's own recordings.
