Crazy house

One customer we had lived in a house that had subsided probably due to mining. It was not noticeable from the outside but interesting when you went inside. On my first visit the boss said just be careful when you walk thorough the door, and he said no more, and he smiled. The entrance hall was quite large and the doors were in opposite corners, I entered the house and walked over to the other door and promptly walked into the wall at the side of the door. The floor sloped but couldn’t be seen in the gloomy hall. Didn’t make that mistake again, the two elderly sisters who had lived all their lives in the house had just got used to it.
Like most of the customers we had they were a lovely couple, down to earth people and there was always tea and biscuits brought to you while sorting out the TV.
