I recently rescued a more or less complete 3500 chassis with all PCB’s in reasonably shabby condition…

(Think this is 3500–Its one with full size conv. board.)

It looks fairly complete, all boards present– but for some odd reason the wiring-loom has been got-at by a wire-cutting maniac! The wiring appears all there–just cut.

Final anode connection from tripler is cut off leaving about 9″ of lead out of tripler. There’s maybe some components missing from convergence and tube-base boards, and surface rust to various parts…

Yours for what I paid–£5 to good home!

Hi Alastair,

I’m very interested.

As you may know I have a lot of 3K sets in my collection that need maintaining so spares are always sought. If you were prepared to remove all the panels/modules and stick them in a box for postage then I would love to take you up on the offer. I don’t need the chassis frame just the modules.

Of course it goes without saying I would cover all postage costs. Let me know if you’re up for it.

p.s.

If the tripler is the silicon potted type it can be repaired, if its the solid resin its game over. If its the former I will take that too as I’ve repaired these type before.

Prob easier to put whole thing in a box, less chance of a board becoming broken, it isnt that big……

What do you think?

Hi Alastair,

Agreed, as long as you’re happy to pack and post, I’m more than happy to take the lot as is.

Let me know how much I owe in total and payment details.

Best do all that in private in the pm system.
