I will need at some time two of the valves for this 1929 radio, a S22 and a HL2

S22 = B262

HL2 = VR27-2volt =  CV2991     VT105-GPO  = CV1673  and possibly also = HL2K  = 210HL = CV1050   PM2HL = VT50

No urgency but as these may be hard to find, particularly the S22, I thought I would start early.

All cost paid etc as usual. Thanks for searching your stocks.

Looking through Marconi valve catalogues, by early to mid 30’s type S22 was no longer listed. However, type S24 appeared with a characteristic very similar to its predecessor. Looking at the specifications S24 does not completely cut off anode current at point of inflexion (anode kink) which in itself should not be problem.

Both types can have either a plain or metallised bulb. Unfortunately I don’t have either but adding S24 may widen the search.
