The picture narrowed and there was a black
band down one side. Now there is no picture at
all. The sound is perfectly normal. -J. Marston
(Northampton).
You should check the PL36 line output valve
and the PY33 if necessary although as the sound
is not affected, we do not suspect this valve
which is the h.t. rectifier.
