Bush TV135R
The Bush TV135R had a VHF tuner that used a 12 cm (approx) plastic rod with brass ferrules for the tuning. The plastic rod snapped and the results were a snowy or no picture.
The rod was easy to replace and I kept them on the van, I did read that some would put a spring at the back of the rod and fabricate something to keep it in place. Now that is probably the only way to fix one.
