The fault on this set is poor focus at the sides of the picture. The areas out of focus extend
inwards about 3in. The remainder of the picture
is excellent.
The fault is worsened by increasing the bright- ness. The U281 has been checked and found to be
in order.-L. Evans (London, S.E.6). This fault could be due to low e.h.t. caused by
low main h.t., or to a faulty picture tube.
