PETO SCOTT 733

< Back

When switching on recently, no stations could be received, although a correctly shaped raster was seen and there is the normal hiss and hum
on sound. The aerial socket is “dead”; the tuner controls have no effect. All heaters are alight and all other controls work. I have unsuccessfully changed the PCF80 frequency changer.-R. Field (Storehouse, Glos.). The PCC89 valve is probably at fault but there
is no reason why there should not be a defective, resistor in the tuner unit. Check these possibilities and then check the EF85 valve and stage resistors, etc.
